World Trade Center, NYC
Managed all technical and telecommunications leasing at the original World Trade Center for over 6 years.
AON Building, Chicago
Led a major broadcast communications installation project working with CBS, NBC, and ABC at the AON Building as well eight (8) other major broadcasting stations nationwide.
Port Authority of NY/NJ
JRS represented the PANYNJ in the High-Definition Broadcast Project. As the Project Manager, he was charged with improving building safety and security, including fire detection and suppression systems following 1994 bombing incident. Added a Class A fire alarm and sprinkler system. Project managed large tenant buildouts and a major expansion of retail space. Managed rooftop broadcasting technologies for largest broadcast site in the country. Project managed addition of HDTV to broadcast antenna for all NY broadcasters. Served on committee on RFP as technical liaison and performed technical due diligence.
Hines Corporation
JRS was hired to head up all technology requirements for new construction of their headquarters for high profile clientele. He designed or provided insight in all technology requirements of the new headquarters, including digital security system, wireless infrastructure, fiber infrastructure, power requirements including redundancy and
back-up power.
Highpointe Group
JRS was a founding member and partner of the entity which management and owned multiply office buildings across the country. JRS was responsible for all rooftop and in building telecommunications services.
Boston Convention and Exhibit Center
JRS was hired to evaluate current DAS technology and make recommendations for expansion or replacement of current system.
Milstein Properties
JRS was hired as technical advisor to owner for state-of-the-art technical building at the Grand Central commercial property in New York City. We advised on DAS technology, fiber redundancy and building out of the infrastructure. Addressed dedicated power for data center, and UPS needs throughout the complex.
Vornado
Managed and operated rooftop broadcast facility and tower for a variety of broadcast tenants. Negotiated leases, approved drawings for additions and upgrades, maintained RF safety guidelines. Project managed all new installations.
Industry City – Brooklyn, NY
gotiated on behalf of owner the renewal and relocation of cellular macro site. Moved into reviewing of new DAS proposal and drawings. Will monitor construction through completion and final commissioning. Served as liaison with legal team and owner.
Ritz Carlton, New York
Retained by Board to evaluate DAS for multi-use building (commercial, residential, hotel). Recaptured unpaid utilities for 10-year period and established new metering protocol. Currently negotiating new lease with cellular provider on behalf of the Board. Performed technology audit and discovered unauthorized macro cellular site operating with no agreement in place.
Peak Power Metro
Project Manager/Consultant to evaluate current power conditions and make recommendations to owners in preparation of power equipment upgrades such as UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems, generators, transfer switches, solar technology. We project manage new installations or upgrades for new and existing clients.
